August 20th marks the end of the summer blockbuster season:) time to focus on the next part of 2010 Sinton Pirate football:clap:  all summer long i've been keeping busy by going to the movies and updating the Sinton Pirates site. Before the season kicks off going to see the final movies for the summer so far the ones i really interested in are

Step Up 3D- Checking out the latest dance from those thug-hip hop street dancing

Piranha 3D- Been waiting for this film since they starting filming in 2009. The 70's remake man eating fish are bigger and more hungry for flesh.

Lottery Ticket- The title speaks for itself once you win the lotto everybody is your best friend.

Salt- Still gotta see this one, love Jolie in her tough character in action movies.

The only reason any Blockbuster is still open is because of the fact that you cannot cure stupid.

It is unbelievable that anyone still isn't aware of Netflix or Redbox.

It is unbelievable that anyone still isn't aware of Netflix or Redbox. Redbox is overrated terrible selection a lot of the time. And Blockbuster also has an online rental service like Netflix. Not to mention on a lot of new movies that come out they are not available on Netflix or Redbox until 28 days after their release.

Here in Liberty Hill we had a Red Box. Last week we noticed it was gone. A couple days later a brand new Blockbuster kiosk appeared. The competition is on.

Different color box on every corner here. Haven't stepped foot in a Blockbuster store in years.

Eh what?

New releases are available on day 1 and usually ship on the monday so you get it on Tuesday or Wednesday. I've never had to wait a month for them to get a new release.

There are several movies with a 28 day wait period on Netflix before avaliable: Hot Tub Time Machine, Avitar and Book of Eli all were 28 day waits. And I have Netflix and love it just saying there still is a positive to a Blockbuster type place.
