09-04-10 at Rice. Very scary indeed. Remember Rice beat us in 1992 17-19 and in 1958 7-34. Also a 14 all tie with them in 1962 cost us a national Championship. Also remember it was almost 50 years ago they beat us 0-7. All these games were in Houston where Rice is tough. I have heard that some of the members of the 1960 Rice team will be at this anniversary game. That increases the risk.

09-11-10 Wyoming. Wyoming is very mad about that 41-10 loss at their stadium last year and will be fired up. Remember we struggled to beat them in Austin in 1978 17-3. ESPN's Andre Ware has predicted Wyoming is going to beat UT this year. That increases the risk.

09-18-10 at Texas Tech. Remember this game in Lubbock two years ago. Enough said. They are tough at home.

09-25-10 UCLA. Good grief! Who scheduled these guys. Talk about wanting to get in the ring with a heavy-weight boxing champion. Remember they beat us in Austin 3-66 in 1997 and again at UCLA in 1998 31-49! Man!

10-02-10 Oklahoma in Dallas. Oklahoma is very mad about last year and they are always tough.

10-16-10 at Nebraska. Nebraska is still mad about that last second loss last year. Most scary indeed.

10-23-10 Iowa State. The last time we played them we beat them easily and they are very mad and this could make them a formidable foe.

10-30-10 Baylor. Baylor is always tough and they helped cost us a National Championship in 1941 by holding us to a 7 all tie. And don't forget they barely missed costing us one in 1963 but we were saved by a last minute interception. And their QB should be back which means we must be careful.

11-06-10 at Kansas State. Kansas State is always tough on us and this one shouldn't be any different. :(

11-13-10 Oklahoma State. They have done great in recruiting and are always tough.

11-20-10 Florida Atlantic. We beat them 52-10 in 2008 and they are mad. Revenge can sometimes be a strong motivator.

11-25-10 Texas A&M. This is scary indeed. Remember they beat us in Austin in 2006 so we must be careful. They always play their best game against us. Most Dangerous.

So you can see it is tough. We must play well and be careful.

That is a tough schedule.
4 teams with winning record.
5 teams that had 6-6 record.
2 teams with losing record.
Top 4 opponents:
Nebraska 9-4
Ok. State 9-3
Texas Tech 8-4
Ok. 7-5

The 1941 tie with Baylor is still fresh in the memory.

Well I guess according to this logic A&M will win the NC. We are mad at everybody and that's scary indeed.

Hopefully the games with A&M can carry more importance that just the Aggies trying to salvage the season with an upset and will be between two great winning teams as it has happened a few times in the past.

We have to remember in 1939 that A&M won the National Championship and beat us in Austin 20 - 0. Also in 1919 the Aggies had a perfect record and beat us 7 - 0. That increases the risk.

Texas needs to step up the caliber of their opponents, with their talent. All jokes aside, give me a Rice football player grad any day over the typical UT player "grad." Yes, I am biased, but unless they end up in the NFL, I wonder where they DO end up? Lord, I am back in all my glory, aren't I? Sorry for the editorializing.

Sounds to me like alot of mad teams from over 50 years ago. If they are still mad then they need to go get some happy pills.
