They were 21-0 on the season and they won 15-5 in the semis and 11-4(both over Killeen) in the final if I remember correctly.

I could be wrong but I dont think the Orioles won state, the 3rd State Championship team was the Junior Midget Red Sox, who won like 15-4 in the title game. I believe somebody told me that the 3 teams that won state went a combined 62-1 on the year.

How many teams were they competing against to win a "state championship"?

Just curious...

How many different State Champions are crowned in these age groups?

Are their multiple depending on the location or organization?

Or is their one sole Texas baseball organization that crowns State Champions?

I dont know about all divisions
but for sophomore boys the numbers were
371 teams .....10 districts where 1st place teams from each different associaton across texas advanced into the district tourney...then 1st place team out of each district advanced to State tournament. 10 teams in state tournament 1 from each district.

There is 1 State Championship crowned for each age division throughout the state of Texas.

There is one state tournament for this organization but there are numerous organizations (some larger than others). There is Dizzy Dean, Babe Ruth, Little League, and at least a half dozen more. Some are regional (DD), some state specific (the ones Cameron is in) and some worldwide (LL).

The two main organizations in Texas are TTAB and of course LL. Im not sure how many teams in Texas play LL but I would like to to see all of the organizations combine because I would have loved to play those LL teams.
