any wii users know anything about setting up the wired connection?

i have a wii that i use to stream netflix and up to date i have only used the wireless - when i can get it to connect, it works fine, but it is very unreliable when initially getting it connect...

been working with a usb/ethernet adapter that i got that is not the wii brand adapter - have any of you every hooked up a wii with a wired adapter and gotten it to work? did you use the wii brand or an off brand?

See if your blu ray player can stream Netflix. Some can.

honestly didn't even know that you could get a wired adapter. I've never had any issues with the wireless though, so I've never had a need to investigate it.

Didn't know that either.

I use my 360 to stream Netflix anyways. Never tried it on the Wii, although I've never had a problem connecting when I download stuff on the Wii.
