Funeral service for Mrs. Joyce Hopper, 78 a longtime Snyder resident will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010, at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Mr. Shane Wade, a grandson, and Dr. Tommy Culwell, pastor of Colonial Hill Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. She died Tuesday, July 27, 201,0 at Garnett Hill Nursing Home in Wylie, TX.
She was born to the late Terrell and Freida (Polk) Williamson on Sept. 15, 1931, in Pleasant Valley community in Fisher County.
She married Lester Hopper on Sept.30, 1949, in Dickens TX. He preceded her in death on Oct. 19 2001. She was a housewife and had worked a number of years at Key Brothers Implement in Snyder. She was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rosanna and Ronnie Wade of Murphy; one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Kay Hopper of Snyder; one brother, Kelton Williamson of Lake Livingston; three grandchildren, Shane Wade and his wife Angie of Allen, Shanna Wright and her husband Robbie Wright of Manor and Logan Hopper of Snyder; and five great-grandchildren, Abigail and Megan Wade and Jackson, Will and Brooklyn Wright.

She was preceded in death by a brother, W. H. Williamson.
Friends are contributing to The American Cancer Society, c/o West Tx State Bank, P. O. Box 1396, Snyder, TX; or the Colonial Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 3506 El Paso, Snyder TX 79549.
