Came across the broadcast in the production room,(play-by-play done by Gene "Unc" Smitherman and KRXT's Charlie McGregor) will be dubbing over into an mp3 today.. If anyone would like a copy PM me

Yates is still around - 4A I believe now. They're a basketball powerhouse - I'm sure you knew that. Inner City kids don't play football anymore.

I was there and, yes, it was blustery.

I couldn't believe we had agreed to play in Waco again in 2007. I sorta knew that would probably doom us that day. Actually, we didn't agree. We lost a coin toss, as I understand it.

What's funny is that I have already listened to the first few minutes of this and the Cameron broadcaster pointed out that Gilmer had come out in a "Slot T" offense on their opening possession, the same one which killed us in 2007.

I choose to not relive that game....;) Since that game we have discovered the forward pass. :D It took 19 more seasons, but we finally discovered it, and now we have 3 more state championship appearances with 2 state titles in this century...:clap:

Yea I was at the Game.....on the field playing. Gilmer ran the Slot T? I didn't notice. I was hitting Ricky Stone in the backfield all afternoon. I don't think Gilmer had 25 yards of total offence.

We ran the Bob McQueen Wing T. Scored all of our TD's on passes.
