It's crazy (to me) to see Don Mattingly and Dale Murphy so far down on the list.

From the class of '11, I could see Bagwell making it. Palmeiro, Kevin Brown and Juan Gone may have a hard time because of their link to the steroids scandal.

2013 will be an interesting class. The first four names on that list are HOFers IMO. Clemens and Bonds were busted in the steroid scandal, but were HOFers long before they started juicing, unlike an injury-prone McGwire. Biggio's a lock because of the 3,000 hit plateau.

Most interesting guy is Curt Schilling. A 250-300 K's/season type of power pitcher in the middle of the steroid scandal. The true ace of the Phillies' WS team in the early-90's. Came out strong against steroids. A stronger candidate than Brown, and was dominant without roids during the roid era.

Alomar should be a lock for next year.

Shocking to me that Alomar and Mattingly didn't make it in. Also, do any of you think Robin Ventura will ever make it in?
