Very impressive win for the Rangers last night. The Detroit team is in a very heated race in their division and the Rangers put it on them good! I can't tell you how great it is to see them FINALLY putting together the little things that wins games. They have always been a pretty good hitting team but this year they are hitting good, playing great D and doing the little mundane things that win games. Did everyone see Hamilton throw himself into a slide at 1st base to beat out the throw in the 9th inning when the Rangers were already up by 5 runs???? I would hate to see him hurt on a play like that but you have to love the intensity!

That's true. But I dont' think the 1st base ump would have given Josh the base if he hadn't done the slide. (did the slid? went into sliding? Slided?) However you say it.............
