haha... she's from Rockwall though, and I lived in Arlington at the time we met (Cleburne now)... but I've already converted her to a Brownwood football fan in just 2 seasons... she says our games are way more fun than her high school games were at the 5A level... and she was an officer in drill team so she was at every game.

Just a little joke about Cleburne. Pretty big rival for us here in Granbury. I'm sure several of their residents would say the same thing.

I think the people in Cleburne probably hate Brownwood as much or more than anyone.... almost anytime someone here asks me where I'm from (I've only lived here 11 months)... I get kind of rude remarks from them when I answer.

I grew up in Brownwood, and I know the rivalry was huge in the 80s between the two towns... but it pretty much died after that, not many people in Brownwood ever talked much about Cleburne when I was growing up... but boy they talk about Brownwood here. Every once in awhile there'll even be a writeup in the paper about that one time in 1984 that Cleburne whooped up on Gordon Wood!

I am under the impression that everyone hates Brownwood.
