Normally I wouldn't, but Miguel Cabrera is participating. I just hope it doesn't screw up his swing.

Should be a great series...the Rangers will probably clinch the division during that series while also eliminating the Tigers from theirs.

It's only two games on Tuesday and Wednesday night. I
really want to make one, but it's gonna be tough.

The way the CWS are playing both the Twins and Tigers.
may be well out of it before then.

How come Josh Hamilton hasn't participated since he had that awesome showing 2 years ago?

Why though? Maybe he doesn't want to have to match what he did two years ago.

Most people that do well in the HR Derby, only participate once. They almost all say that they changed their natural swing to try to hit homers and very often that carried over into the 2nd half of the season. If you will remember, the 2nd half of 2008 was terrible for Josh...I am sure that he wants no part of that.

just not enough outfield seating for the fans...keep seeing so many balls all the way from left center to right center that no one gets...

and quoted from j ham a few weeks ago, "I feel like, 'Why mess up a good thing?'" "I've got nothing to prove. It's fun. I would like to do it, but you've got to think about the whole season and the club."
