I enjoyed listening to the show. Thanks for the kuddos to Brownwood despite Rocket lol. On a side note, yall mentioned Brownwoods knack for going 6-4 or 7-3 then making a deep playoff run when we were in 4A. But, it wasnt Reg1 when that happened, it was Reg2. Dist 16, Us, Waco, Cove, Waco U, Waco Midway, Killeen. That was a killer district.

Good job, TxBroadcaster. Your assessment of Wimberley was very accurate. I am not real sure whether Wimberley's biggest strength this year will be on offense or defense, I am hoping for the latter of course, if I have to choose one. One thing I know for sure is Coach Smith (defense), will definitely have them hitting on all cylinders.

I also have full faith in Coach Nelms and his ability to get the most out of the team. Our pre-district play is the toughest schedule in my memory, so we should be ready to go come district (which shouldnt be too hard to dominate, seeing the competition)

Some say our strength will really be next year, when the bulk of our talent pool will be seniors. But thats talk for next year...lets get through this one first!

Well...it had planned on being a region preview but we DID get sidetracked

We are going to revisit the Region Previews in August
