Bellville/Newton a strange Div. II matchup

You know if either Navasota or Stafford make the playoffs, which is quite possible: then Bellville or/and Sealy play in Division II. I would think, at this point, that the winner of the, say, Newton/ Bellville game is a solid contender for the Division II state Championship.

Interesting observation. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Bellville will be a team to contend with in R3 this year. That would be a game to watch for sure!

What kind of team does Bellville have this year? Newton is young, but have a lot of talent.

That is a possibility, but I personally think that Columbus will edge out Navasota for the 3rd playoff spot in District 23.If that happens than Bellville would go to Div.1. Both scenarios are possible but I look for Bellville to go Div 1.

I believe Bellville returned a bunch of playoff hardened juniors last year, and so should have some very salty senior talent hungry to make a statement. They are well coached, and look an awful lot like Sinton at times.
