Sad news as he was two days short of his 76th birthday. He was a supporting actor when he was young and later was a writer, producer and director for television. His main movie was in Rebel Without a Cause made in 1955 and his role was Buzz. This movie can be seen on TCM tonight at 7 P.M. and if you missed it you can see it on Septemer 4, 2010 at 11 A.M. on TCM.
This great movie had a great cast which included James Dean, Natalie Wood, Sal Mineo, Corey Allen, Dennis Hopper (who passed away in late May), Nick Adams and Jim Backus. Corey was the last main actor of this movie to pass away. Ironically he was the one who got killed in the movie.
