January 31, 2002 -- For the first time, the biannual University Interscholastic League Reclassification and Realignment will be telecast on a syndicated network of broadcast stations across Texas at the time of its release.

The Reclassification and Realignment program, which will announce the conferences and districts that Texas public schools will compete in for UIL activities during the 2002-03 and 2003-04 academic years, will air at 9 AM (Central) on Monday Feb. 4 on the following stations:

Co-hosts of the program will be Craig Way of KVET Radio in Austin and Dr. Charles Breithaupt, athletic director of the UIL. The Reclassification and Realignment program is being produced by Jeff Watts Productions, which produces Fox Sports Net's weekly 'High School Xtra' and 'High School Xtra Live!' every Friday night during the football season.

Our statewide radio program, 'Inside Texas Football,' will have opinions and thoughts on what some of the biggest changes may be for the upcoming year. 'Inside Texas Football' is broadcast on radio affiliates of the Texas State Networks from 9-10 PM (Central).
