I will get to see Palacios this year as they are now in our district. Looking forward to it.

I hope Yoakum can get enough players together to make the trip!

Is it just me or is 7 on 7 pretty watered down when it comes to state tournament?

yes it is very much watered down. but it has the kids playing and competing with teammates.

same things happen with little dribblers and summer baseball leagues.

these programs offer positive activities during the summer.

if the kids can play and HAVE FUN in the summer months this is great.

hopefully no summer coaches are so harsh that it promotes burnout or a negative experience.

hurray for the communities that support summer sports teams.

Kinda feel like Bandera in football. I think ya'll couldn't barely field a football team last year. Like 19, 20 kids on varsity. Yikes!!!! Numbers up this year bulldog82? Kinda hard to compete all year with so few varsity players at the 3A level.

For the the number of students, we have a terrible ratio to number of kids playing sports. then we had unfortunate injuries throughout the season. one point down to 5th QB. soph running backs. very disappointing season in 09. will probly have same problem this year as far as numbers go. just do not have that wanting to be a part of something tradition.

That's a shame bulldog82. Great town, and I can remember being a Bandera Bulldog meant a lot to a kid. And, that was when that junky stadium was used.

We are lucky here. Great numbers expected to come out this year. Just not 7 on 7 numbers though:)
