i just watched it for the first time today and it was pretty good. i didnt think it would be that good but it was.
The 1st one was ok, the 2nd one is worse...sad to see how Michael Bay has raped my childhood.

What was so wrong with the second one? I kind of liked it.

Are you serious? The twins...dumb (nicer word then I first wrote)...Devastator...dumb...plot...dumb. If you are a true generation 1 transformers fan then this whole series thus far has been a complete failure. I own the complete G1 set (that big of a transformers nerd) so I take my transformers a little bit more serious the the average joe probably does.

And you expect more from a movie that is based upon a former cartoon?

I sure in the heck do! Spider Man was a former cartoon and the first two were pretty good. The Hulk was a cartoon as well and the second one turned out pretty good as well (1st one was horrible). G.I. Joe was a cartoon as well and that turned out better than expected. With a story line like Transformers Bay did a pretty good job of screwing it all up.

You can buy the IMAX edition at Walmart for full-screen capability on an HDTV.

Lots of action and great effects in both... Story was weak in second but I still enjoyed it. No it is definately not same as the cartoon.

I think it stayed truer to its origin then Transformers did.
