Have you ever taken a day or part of a day off of work to watch a sporting event on TV?

Ha I've got a Computer Systems test tomorrow morning and my professor said we could watch the World Cup game as long as we finish the test in an hour...putting it up on the projector lol

I also watched the Master's in class last semester...gotta love campus's that get ESPN 3

I used to request the Super Bowl Sunday off every year when I worked retail...I'd think about it around Christmas time when everybody was asking for their time off, then I was always the first one to request it and therefore always got it.

I don't work weekends anymore, so now I just try to leave work early sometimes when I'm going to weekday games.

I usually take off the first Friday of March Madness. It's REALLY fun to go to a sports bar/restaurant and attempt to watch 16 games in one day.

I in a way quit a job to go to the first game at Cowboys Stadium. They wanted me to work really late Saturday and I was having to get up around 8 since I a party pass.

They were only giving my like 6 hours a week though so that was the main reason.

The last time I did that was to watch the Detroit Lions get beat by
the Iggles 58-37 in a divisional playoff game. I haven't done it
since.
