Just got a call from Coach Allen, looks like the Pirates are interested in going to be entering the Kaufer 7 on 7 State Qualifier on Saturday, if their 7 on 7 coach can get enough kids!. Good luck to the Pirates!

Why do all these things start so early?! :D If we enter, I *might* make the drive.

Two things: 1) who cares about Sinton 7 on 7, and 2) The list of teams is a joke.

And, here's a third thing: 7 on 7 is way overrated.

1) Sinton cares
2) I don't think Mathis and Ingleside would be considered jokes
3) If you think 7 on 7 is overrated then don't watch it
:D

It's overrated because many teams/schools put alot of emphasis on it and do well at it, even making it to the state tournament, then fast forward to 11 man football in the Fall, and these same teams/schools absoultely stink! 7 on 7 should only be used as practice for quarterbacks, recievers and defensive backs, not as a competition that you run all over the state trying to qualify for a state tournament! That is why it is overrated and if you can't see that, you aren't paying attention to what's going on.

I guess my definition of overrated is different than yours. It sounds like you dont agree with the qualifying format, that doesn't mean the concept is overrated.
