Cleveland ISD’s AD resigns

Cleveland ISD Athletic Director Ricky Tullos has resigned. It was confirmed Thursday afternoon, June 16, via e-mail from Cleveland ISD Superintendent Kerry Cowart.

“He is seeking a district that will give him the opportunity to maximize his leadership and coaching skills to their fullest,” Cowart said.

Cowart added that the position is posted in the appropriate websites and that applications will be accepted through June 25, 2010. Interviews will be held June 28 – July 2.

Calls to Tullos for further comments surrounding his departure were not returned.

This isn't the first hometown boy they ran off. Remember they ran Arledge off in 2001 after back to back Qtr Finals appearances and not losing a district game in 3 years.
