Sweeny 9 yr old All Stars

Congratulations to the Sweeny LL 9 yr old All Stars on winning the District 18 Championship (1st time in 21 years)

After losing to Lamar National 12-3, Sweeny defeated Lake Jackson American and Lamar American. Then Sweeny defeated Lamar National 12-0 and 13-8 to win the District Championship.

With the win Sweeny advances to the 9 yr old Mini Section 4 East Texas Tournament 6/19-6/23 in Richmond.

Why not! Some football people are looking at 7 on 7 and might doing the same thing! They might not be saying it, but they might be thinking it!:D

Yes, but some of those folks are predicting(thinking) a state championship THIS YEAR.

Unless nine year olds are actually playing in the 7 on 7; if then, they might have a point about not only a state championships but possibly a Pac-10ish or Big 10ish championship! ;)
