Air Horns

Cow Bells

Vuvuzelas

I used to think it was the air horn but the vuvuzelas win by a landslide.

Not annoying but LHPM's cow bells have to eclipse everything else. THOSE THINGS ARE LOUD! :D

What the heck is a Vuvuzela?

Turn on one of the World Cup games and when you get a headache from the background noise you can thank the vuvuzelas. they are a plastic horn that they blow for the entire game in South Africa.

Is it that plastic horn that has shown to give cancer to everyone who blows into it? I think those have a high level of Cadmium, but what do I know...

Why would I watch the World Cup? Unless USA plays, I have much better things to do.:D

Cow Bells- I always find a way to sit by someone with a cow bell and wow...

Vuvuzelas- I watched 30 seconds of a game earlier and had to turn the channel.

Should the question add "Soccer" to what IS most annoying?:D

I agree but it is just a habit I have of turning on ESPN and there they are running around playing football and blowing vuvuzelas.

Soccer is kind of like 7 on 7 but you can only use your feet.

When I walk into a place where I want to enjoy my experience, I don't want to be sitting in a crowd of 100,000 with it sounding like a pissed off bee hive.

I heard a rumor that West passed a city ordinance against air horns, because they didn't want us to bring ours. which is kinda funny because they have a train track right thru the middle of town.
If you don't want to hear the horn, Don't let us score :D

Wow. Just WOW. Maybe you should take the time to understand soccer. My 'pansy' son plays both soccer and football. He is very successful in both. He will tell you that soccer is far and away much harder physically and mentally.

I can turn the sound of the vuvuzelas down/off. I can't turn off a cowbell sitting next to me. Well, I could, but I would probably get in a lot of trouble for doing so.

I like soccer, but it's not harder mentally or physically then football. There is a reason high schools play games on tuesdays and fridays.

As much as soccer fanatics love to say, you aren't running the entire time. If you are on defense you get to stand there and chill while the offense does work or vice versa.

And these are the teams that are not successful. Watch the teams that are good. All 11 are moving together all the time. And remember - no timeouts, no huddles. Just constant movement for 45 minutes (per half).

International level football is very exciting to watch. I can't say the same for collegiate and down soccer though.

Movement and running are two very different things.

I am watching spain and switzerland right now, I would think they are pretty good and I see a lot of walking when the ball is on the other side of the field.

Did you notice that all 10 (field players) were on the same side of the field as the ball when on offense and visa versa when they are on defense? They move as a team. Constantly.
