I don't see the sense in having a predetermined site for 2A and under.

I wonder if this means they will have them all on TV.

Looks like back to back trips to visit my daughter in DFW in December! Tickets on sale yet?

At least the weather won't play any part in it..........not that it makes any difference....:D I like it, too. It'll be much more comfortable for the fans and the players. It's also close enough to East Texas that it'll only take 2-1/2 to 3 hours to get there.

I hope it is an omen.

First game will be 3A D1

Celina played in the most championship games in the old stadium, they played in the last ever HS championship game in 2008. And based upon crazy UIL alignment, could play in the first ever HS Championship game at Jerry World!

It beat last year! I thought it was a great game and Celina had their chances. Carthage was by far the better team and the Bobcats made them work for the title. I'll would love to be in that position again come December 10.

You can sit in the same position, you'll just be watching a different team.

I agree with you. I like being able to go to different locations and watch teams. I hate this deal.

I agree. Instead of traveling 4 or 5 hours for one game, my family and I can make a weekend of it and catch at least 4 or 5 games.

This sucks for a lot of Region IV teams that might make it that far. A very long trip to say the least.

What about some Region I teams having to travel to Reliant? It's never going to be fair to everyone so they might as well just pick the best stadium.

I agree that it is virtually impossible to solve the problem for everyone. I was just complaining because I live in South Texas.:D

i like it....some of you need to remember that the state championship isnt for the fans. It is all for the kids and i am sure that they thought it would be nice to reward the kids for playing in the same place as Americas Team. i love the deal and im sure a lot of the kids love it and will just make them want it more now knowing whats on the line. so before you complain about the long drive and all that nonsense remember this is not for you its for the kids playing

Sinton will have plenty of time to have fund raisers to send there team to watch the state championship. Ya'll probably won't be playing after the first round of playoffs if you get that far.
