I am sure a lot of people are asking that question. I believe Jimmy Dean sold his sausage company to Sara Lee in 1984. Your child can still eat Jimmy Dean sausage for a long time.:D

Hey MUSTANG I think even after he sold out they still kept him on (probably on condition of the sell) as a PR and advertising spokesman. Sort of like Kentucky Fried Chicken did with Colonel Sanders after he sold out.

Yes, it seems like I remember him doing commercials for quite a long time after he sold the company. I liked his music and his sausage.
