TCU may have the best rotation in the nation, top to bottomc but Texas' isn't too far behind. Considering that the Horns' ace is up next it'll be a tough game.

And unfortunately, presumably since I live in Texas, the alternate ESPN feed on DirecTV channel 210 (FSU/Vandy) is blacked out here so we're locked into a 12-0 blowout. Nice.

Someone messed up though, SC and CC are on ESPN and ESPNU. Usually if a game is running late they will start the other game on ESPNU.

Imagine that -- holding the #2 seed to one run in game one, and a shutout through 8 in game three.

If you don't see why they are giving the Frogs so much credit, you're a total homer.

And should the Horns fail to come back, you seem like the type who would simply say UT is the better team because they outscored TCU in the series overall -- but that and $5 gets you a fast food combo meal.

The Frogs did what they had to do to win the series and came through when they did. Of course there is still one last slim chance for UT but the Frogs look like they have done it away from home.

You've gotta love gracious losers.

In a three game series, what you need is two dominant starting pitching performances, and that's what TCU got.

This is why many hate Texas fans, sense of entitlement is awful. TCU went to Texas and beat then two out of three, they were the better team at least this weekend. Just accept it that every once in a while mighty Texas can't win everything.

There are no excuses. There was no critical injury or bad calls. TCU did what they had to do to win. We had our chances but left runners on base and didn't score. The Frogs got the runs they needed and hopefully will bring an NC to Fort Worth.

probably one of those guys that always says I pull for Texas but when their not playing I pull for other Texas schools....(except when they come into our house and beat us at our own game).

Congrats to the frogs and Good season for the horns........i've been a admirer of horn baseball all my life and even as an aggie i appreciate the longhorn tradition and program.

Now now Matthew you know better than that. We are humble in victory and gracious in defeat. When we win we don't rub other people's face in the dirt. We make no excuses even when justified like the NC game when Colt got hurt. We are modest and classy. We don't brag or shoot our mouths off when success is ours and we don't whine when it isn't. We are classy. We are Texas.

And trust me - I know because I have been a UT fan for over 50 years.

I see where you're going with this, but I wouldn't paint with that broad a brush.

I know a lot of Horns fans are classy folks and will be gracious in defeat here, but the program's increasing dominance over darned near everything has made what feels like an increasing number of them spoiled to the point where they feel a sense of entitlement, like there's some birthright to be the champions in everything.

And if isn't to be, well, rather than congratulate the other guys for being a little bit better when they had to be, you have to pee in their sandbox.

Instead of the glass being 90% full, it's 10% empty. Hopefully Texas "fans" with this kind of attitude are still decidedly in the minority. I suspect they still are.

Of course there's tons of great Texas fans but a vocal minority makes a lot of them look like sore winners and losers.

Congratulations to TCU on a masterfully played series. They made a couple of mistakes, but really came through when it mattered. Texas scored most of their runs in one game, but TCU pitched very, very well. I will be pulling for the Hornfrogs to bring the championship back to the great state of Texas.

Hook 'em...errr...Horn 'em!!!:)

Trust me its not based off one idiot fan, there's several. Like I said sometimes a small majority makes a whole fan base look bad.

There are several Texas fans whining that TCU dogpiled on their Longhorn if that tells you anything.

Kind of th same when TCU fans on message board were screaming they should be in the BCS title game and would whoop anyone they played.

Apples to oranges.....

TCU fans before the BCS announcements were doing pre-game bravado.

At least after Boise won, I saw pretty much congrats all around to them. Were Frog fans happy they lost?? No...but there wasn't much "the better team lost," or "they celebrated on our logo," etc.

There was no disrespecting of a specific opponent there after having lost to them. Big difference.

And frankly, I don't blame any fan of a non-AQ conference team for feeling a little cheated for not having a chance at the championship when they finish a regular reason undefeated.

I guess we just went to diff board then because I saw ALOT of TCU fans screaming about who they had to play, then after the loss still claming they could take UT, BAMA, the Cowboys and anyone else they could play. Griping and claming they had a tougher schedule then Texas and some even saying tougher than Bama. and so on and so on. Old news now though. Just my point ALL schools/teams have STUPID fans as part of their fan base

On to now..great series by TCU..I really think as long as they dont let the moment overwhelm them they can do some damage with their pitching staff..but it is all about not letting that first game get away from them IMO

It's baseball in a 3 game series anything can happen maybe Texas is the better team throughout a season, but TCU was better when it counted. Texas edged them last year and TCU returned the favor thats baseball. Following Texas this year I just felt the bats weren't going to quite be enough to make the run the team made last year and unfortunatly I ended up being right.

Nothing left to do now but cheer for TCU it has been their year this year on the dimond. Anytime you get a first round pick who turned down 6 million dollars to come play for you somebody must be doing something right in Ft Worth or the Rangers front office was doing something wrong.
