I think it was more old people complaining about low ratings.

No...it was the young punks giving bad ratings....just because they were young punks.

Anything we add to the board is for the betterment of it....I don't see how rating each other betters the board!

I might have an idea...
What if for every two decades a person has lived they get to rate once.
ie. A twenty year old could rate once but a 40 yr old could rate twice, a 60 yr old three times and on and on?

Never mind, it is a crappy idea.

We are getting the bare minimal vbulletin board and IMO we deserve more.

I am a donating member doesn't my opinion mean something?

How about the "helicopter" feature?

Greatest idea ever. That would mean they might have to upgrade from the ancient software though.

vBookie would be better though.

I would even donate more then 50 cents if either of these happened.

I was temporarily a 5-star poster back in the day. Then someone rated me a 1 star, then I asked who it was, and it opened a whole can of worms...next thing we know, Matt had to disband the entire system thanks to some punk named Keith who was intentionally screwing with it...

On the new vbulletin its called reputation

It works where if you have no rep or negative rep it doesn't take away from you if they give you a negative rating. but as you build rep your reping power grows

So it's basically a feature you'd never be able to use anyway, right? :p :D
