That had to one of the funnest and funniest characters out there.

might I add:

I can't rank these in any order...

Charlton Heston (Ten Commandments)

Will Smith (Independence Day)

Hugo Weaving (V for Vendetta) I am not an anarchist, but he is one of the best anti-heroes ever in an Orwellian modern day England..

Ian Petrella (A Christmas Story)

Steven Waddington (The Last of The Mohicans) I think that is the guy who gave up his life for Madeline Stowe in that movie, most women might pick Daniel Day-Lewis, though.

Damn good choices, except I'd go Hugo Weaving in Matrix.

And Magua played just as great a role in LOTM. If you have the extended cut of that on DVD you'll see an excellent example of late 18th century tactics displayed by Duncan outside the walls of the Fort. The final cut portrays him as jerk, but the book and this scene show him as a good leader.

Hugo Weaving in The Matrix? Really? Not here.
He was good but mainly said "Mr Anderson..... Mr Anderson..." and etc etc...

I normally don't root for the bad guys. I'd take him in LotR over Agent Smith.

I've always been a huge fan of Steven Segal... but..

I just recently saw this movie called Taken.

Liam Neeson ripped through the flick in a Superhuman Steven Segal type manor.

By far my vote goes to Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) from Taken...2008
