In 2000 it took us 3 days to play the championship game because of rain.
Naturally, it went to extra innings.

10 am game did not finish till 2:15. 1 pm game was starting at 3. They cut the time between games to 45 minutes from an hour. So that means the first 3a game will be around 5:45-6:00. Which means Giddings would be around 8:30-9, if everything runs okay.
Lee County live and booster club are say 7:45, but I feel that might be a little optomistic.
If you are there by 7-7:30 you should be fine, or at least that's my plan.

Jasper really did not play that bad. It seemed like every one of their hits went right at a player. Could not catch a break for anything.

Errors, some key hits, and 2 squeeze bunts along with a stellar pitching performance by Trey Masek got Giddings the win tonight. Giddings really has alot of talent and if they do not win tomorrow I will be very surprised.
Now through 8 playoff games, Giddings is outscoring their opponents 56-6!

Congrats to Pleasant Grove.
Giddings, you guys keep your heads up. You made it a bunch further than the rest.
Shouldn't the state tourney be done with a 2 out of 3 series? Anybody who knows anything about baseball knows that only a series can test a teams depth....
