Man this must be some great game. At this point you almost wish they would make them co state champions because you hate to see a team lose in a game like this.

3rd runner thrown out at the plate. PNL lost 2, West 1. West also lost another runner after rounding 3rd earlier.

wow they just ejected the west catcher for what a high hard tag on the nl runner in between third and home.....wow.

you can say that again...poor kid was a freshman...came up to bat with two outs...tying run at second and winning at three...struck out swinging.

congrats north lamar.

4A game will be a good one two long time friends of mine battling it out for the title.........Midway's coach Sherry Rogers will be retiring after the season.......Good Luck to both.

What a game! Congratulations PNL on the state championshp, that is an awesome team you have, and congratulations to the Lady Trojans on a great season. It's been a great ride and I hate to see it end this way, but it was still awesome.

A shame one team had to lose, a great game to watch, lots of exciting plays at the plate, great pitching by both pitchers, great defensive plays in the field...What a game!!! Congradulations to the Pantherettes...I knew you had it in you....Congradulations to Rayn House North Lamar pitcher, tournament MVP!!!
Great game West nothing to hang your head about................both teams left it all on the diamond!!!

Did the catcher getting ejected have an influence on the outcome. It would be a shame if it did.

I think it did. She was the clean up hitter and would have been up with two on in the last inning. Who knows what would have happened but I'm sure NL had rather face her replacement. Still, a great game by both teams!

Then don't tag a runner so hard in the chin.....it looked like a Tyson punch from his early years......I hated to see the catcher get ejected from the game too, but the NL runner had given up.
