What a game to start with Hawaii/Mizzou.


Top of the 7th Hawaii down 2-1 they get a lead off runner on and the 9th batter in the line up hit a home run to right center to take the 3-2 lead.


In the bottom the 7th right now.

That's how Hawaii made it to the WS. Damn, I knew I forgot to do something. :( I was gonna DVR the games. ARGH!

It's funny that this enforcement of a rule that has been on the books for every level of softball for many years has finally become a"point of emphasis" this year! Cat Osterman, among others was throwing illegal pitches her entire career and never called for doing so.

I remember back in the coaching days, trying to get the "hoppers" called to no avail! I always insisted that pitchers learn from a coach that taught the pivot foot to drag. If pitching coaches would teach by the rule book, this would not even be an issue.
