Naming the top five Lakers or the top five Yankees. I am going to have to think on the Yankees for a bit. By the way I dont like either one of them.

Yankees. They have an unparalleled lineage. It would be difficult.

Yankees....they've had greats for longer in a sport thats been around longer.

You could name 5 Yankees that are top 30 players all time that played before the Lakers even existed. You could argue who is the better overall franchise though as far as team accomplishments.

Yankees are best in their own sport. Haven't there been a lot more World Series games than NBA Finals?

The first "World Series" took place in 1882 but the modern Worls Series started in 1903
