They were only able to get five teams at this tournament. Each team will play four games round robin with the top two advancing to the state.

Abilene Wylie
Eastland
Crane
Ballinger
Snyder*

Snyder has already qualified so if they finish in the top two they'll be taken out.

Wow, any reason why they couldn't attract more teams?

Brownwood and Early dropped out for various reasons. I think the fact its on a SAT testing weekend hurt also.

Matt, does it seem like the economy is playing a role in lack of 7on7 competing teams at SQTs and in your opinion does the field seem watered down?

No I think the UIL scare is playing more of a role...also remember the Div. II field expanded to 64 this year so there will be some growing pains....in Division I tournaments the waiting lists are 10 deep for nearly every tournament.

Tournament went real well. Round robin style very goo teams there.
