Mother and brother do. If you're just now discovering it, it's likely not too bad. I know if my bro or mother are w/o their inhaler during an attack, they feel like they're being choked by Darth Vader.

Have you been ill recently or have allergies? I am not saying your diagnosis was wrong but many times adult onset asthma is mis-diagnosed because of recent illnesses or allergies. If it is adult onset asthma it is usually easier to control then asthma diagnosed in children.

I've had very few problems with my asthma since I was put on Advair. Very seldom do I have to use my rescue inhaler.

I had exercise induced asthma...I say had because I rarely workout anymore, but there would be times I would have to just stop because I couldn't get a deep breathe but it was nothing ever very serious
