Navasota info needed

We are driving down to Navasota on Friday to hear John Conless at Grimes County Fairgrounds

We plan on staying the night at one of the motel so we don't have to drive back almost 2 hours to Wharton

Is there a good place to eat in Navasota and where are the fairgrounds at

We've heard John before and love his shows

There is a best western at Hwy 6 & Hwy 90 North and a Comfort Inn Suites at the same exit as soon as you get off Hwy 6. Both are pretty good. There is a Wrangler Steakhouse that is behind McDonalds at that same intersection and a La Casita that has gret Mexican food on the other side behind Walmart.

The fairgrounds are 1 mile north of Navasota on Sh90 toward Anderson. At the Auction Barn turn left and go about 1 mile and the fairgrouds are on the left. Get there early because parking will be a bitch.

Keep your doors locked when you park and dont go to the carwash after dark and you will be ok.

there is also a bbq place next to the hotel and a bar and grill across the hwy..they have good steaks and burgers
