not 3A but skimming through brackets and noticed two odd sites for series

4A- Calallen-Lake Travis Region IV final played in Huntsville( a region III town) and how this for travel 5A region II final: Klein High v. Klein Collins schools are about 5 miles apart but will travel close to 60+ to play in College Station.


no big deal just caught my eye.

this info...was taken from the Dallas Morning News..........which I have noticed throughout the baseball and softball playoffs have reported wrong scores and schools advancing.

Game 1 Friday @7:30pm...Game 2 Saturday @ 4:30pm....Game 3 if needed 30 minutes after Game 2 ends.

At this point many of the coaches want to get their kids playing on turf so they'll be ready for Austin. Many of the schools are willing to go out of their way to play on turf so that Austin isn't the first time they've seen it. That might explain some of the odd choices.....
