I think this series will be a good one. Giddings should win in three, but that Boerne team has few weaknesses.

Texas State would make sense. Do you think this will be a series or 1 game winner take all.

I went with Boerne. No losses in the playoffs thus far is impressive in my book. Besides, if it can't be my Pirates, I'll go with the team that took them out.;)

I guess San Marcos would be a logical choice. If anyone hears any details please post. Lee county live just twittered that they will play next week. I think the finals are played in Austin starting June 9th.

Giddings is a tough tough team. They have two quality pitchers. They have probably the four toughest outs in 3A at the the top of the lineup.

I am not to familiar with Boerne, but I know that they have two good pitchers themselves. If their two arms can shut down the top four of Giddings, then they have a good chance of prevailing.

I don't know what type of offense Boerne has. If they make contact with Giddings flame throwers and put the ball in play, they have a chance to make things happen.

In the end I believe that Giddings advances.

I guess one of these two teams are going to get their first playoff loss this year, who knows, maybe both will get their first loss in the playoffs this year.

Giddings will prevail in my homer opinion, and based on a few stats.

Giddings Pitching too good for Boerne to keep up in runs scored.

I think Boerne will represent IV. But wow, whoever wins has to play either Esca. Lubbock, Burnet, Orangefield, or Jasper, etc:
