Jasper wins both Game 2 and Game 3 to advance to the Region III finals.

Jasper won Game 2 by a score of 9-2, and then came back from 2-1 late to win Game 3 by a score of 4-2.

Congratulations to the Jasper Dogs, and to Orangefield on their series wins today. Playing each other is going to be a huge test for both teams next week. I just might have to figure out a way to be there!

Yep! For sure, there will be a SE Texas team in the state tournament once again.

That's awesome! the dogs just need to keep those errors to a minimum. They had 5 errors in the first game that they lost. It's hard to overcome 5 errors against anybody, much less a team like Bridge City.

In game three BC Jas. tied 2-2 right at the last. A BC error at second lost them the game.

I look for Orangefield Bobcats to prevail over Jasper.

Anyone that can have the Robinson #1 team all year-- 14-0 in the 5th inning will probably beat Jasper.

One late error maybe kept BC vs OF from having a 21-3A only Region III final. LOL

Orangefield will be favored. Jasper played the underdog role all the way to a state crown not long ago though.

One thing is for sure both of these teams will be able to hit the ball. I expect a lot of runs.

--Seems errors always plague BC when they meet Jasper. Both teams struggled in the field at times in this past series.
