Haven't covered any games down there the last two weeks that I've noticed...

Welcome to the club. Last week most of are games were cancelled because of rain so they decided to mention that but when we do play they could care less.

Kept switching over to the Texas News Channel, and on the guide it was listing High School Edge but it wasn't airing. :rolleyes:

Hey Ozzy, I am just remembering that KRGV chl 5, might have highlights on thew web. I will have to check it out in a few.

Its the show that on Fox Sports Net

High school xtra is a show on abc that highlights texas high school football comes on around 1am. High School Scoreboard is the same thing but on fox sports net and at midnight. They both cover texas in a regional pattern but have neglected South Texas for a few weeks.

What was called High School Xtra last year is now called High School Scoreboard on fox sports. After the Scoreboard I was surfing the channel and came acorss a generic version on abc, I think, called High School Xtra, weird.

Me too, the reception is alot better on FM. Two weeks ago when I was going home to visit in Cotulla, after the Falfurrias game, I heard it all the way past Freer heading towards Laredo on 44.

Thanks footballgal, for checking. Man thats some reception. I remember a few years back we were on out way back from a game in Corpus and we were listening to other valley playoff scores on 98.5.

As a matter a fact back in the 90's I recall there was a group of people who came to see the Tarpons vs La Feria and they were trying to buy a little football from some fan to take back home. All due to the show!

But of course I know why they can't face it North, a liitle something called an FCC rule lol :D
