Atlanta Hawks owner is third to be fined for NBA's anti tampering clause, in regards to Lebron James. Here's the financial break down of the $135,000 that has been fined so far.

Mark Cuban(Dallas)-$100,000
Micheal Gearon(Atlanta)-$25,000
Steve Kerr(Phoenix)-$10,000

By league rules that eliminates their team from acquiring LeBron correct? Why are there different monetary fines handed out for this instead of one flat find?

If the NBA chose, that's an action that they could take. They have not inflicted that penalty on any of the aforementioned teams.

The fine can range up to $1 million if the NBA thinks it's bad enough, so it would have to be really bad for the NBA to go that high and then go higher by prohibiting a team from pursuing him.

Yeah, but I suspect they wouldn't ever do this to one of their "glamour" teams from the major media markets.
