Could this be a one game playoff or will it be a series?

Did Anthony Banda pitched against Robstown in district?

Robstown has been ready for this all season and Mathis is now peaking at the right time behind Banda. Good luck to both.

I am pretty sure Banda has not pitched against Robstown.

Aren't both teams from 31-3A? Wouldn't they have to wait to meet until the regional final? And shouldn't they be in different brackets, or did Sinton go big school instead of Robstown?

Sinton finished 2nd so went the opposite bracket and Robstown finish 1st and Mathis 3rd. This round is the round where 1st place faces 3rd place if both teams from same district are still in it.

Oh ok. I wasn't sure if there were D1&2 like in football.

The Pirates knew going into this game that they were up against one of the best 3A teams in the state. They did their best and held their heads up. For that we are proud and grateful. Thanks for a great season Pirates. I really hope we lost to the State Champions. Go Robstown bring that trophy home.
