this certainly isn't OFFICIAL but I think the 3rd game would be played Monday - I hope we have to have a 3rd game :) (even if that is Cuero's All Sports Banquet night) gotta do what you gotta do :)

Can't play Monday, this round had to be certified by midnight tonight, that's why people who are up 1-0 aren't trying real hard to find place to play and the 0-1 teams are calling 30 places!!!!

Certification in each round of the play-offs is on each Sat. - May 8, 15, 22, 29, etc. Teams are allowed to finish on Mon. if they have started game 2 before midnight on Sat. and done everything in their power to play the games. The game will pick up where it was halted. Game 3 would follow game 2. The next opponent is required to be notified that the series is being finished on Mon. All this on the UIL site.
If game 2 is never started on Sat., then the game 1 winner will advance. I agree that the game 1 winner is not looking that hard to find a dry field and the loser is doing everything in their power to find a field to play.

LOL! What they need to do is make it where if they are to play 2 out of 3 games then if they don't it will be decided by a coin flip. Then you can bet Game 1 winner will be the one looking for a field and the loser not so hard. :)

Doesn't look like a 3rd game will be needed, as the unofficial final looks like 11-2 LaGrange.

Hats off to Coach Holder and the success this young team had this year. (I believe they graduated 9 starters from last year's team)

whew - I just love driving 3.5 hour 1 way for a HOME game lol.... seriously - it was a pretty drive to and from Llano, I've never been that way. Wish the outcome was different. :( Good season Gobblers.. :clap:
