Also, where is the best place to get the quickest results? The UIL website?

I don't follow track and field a lot but I read in the CC Caller that Jill HYdrick from Ingleside won state in discus. The article said that she threw the discus 17' farther than the second place girl. Is that possible or is it a misprint. I thought maybe it should have been 17". I know the Hydrick girl is good but that doesn't seem right to me.

I watched the 4X400 boys relay on flowtrack and it looked like Madison won the race. Then I looked at the UIL results and they said Madison was DQ'ed for a lane violation. Anyone know what happened? I could not see it on the tape. They would have been close to winning the meet without the DQ wouldn't they?

Jill Hydrick was way, way ahead of her competition. Great technique.

Dallas Madison was DQ'd on the second lap. Their guy ran the entire curve about 6" INSIDE the inside stripe on his lane. I spotted it from the stands and told everyone around me. Right after they cut in at the 500 meter mark I saw the yellow flag go up and I knew I had seen it right. The Madison guys need to learn how to win gracefully. They were talking major smack and chest pounding right up until the time they were told they were DQ'd.

Interesting bit of trivia I know from being a contractor. Obviously if you run exactly on the inside stripe of your lane then you run a shorter distance that if you were to run on the outside stripe. On a 400 meter track, where is the 400 meters measured from?

The answer is 20 centimeters from the inside stripe or about 8" in from the stripe. This is where most people run. Not a lot of people know that. Now the entire 3Adownlow knows it.

No one has cleared wavers yet. UIL is still investigating. Waiting on the response from the LE Supt. AD and coaches. They then will make a decision when the Executive Committee meets.

Could affect the State Basketball and Track Titles. Trust me.

LE folks have hired lawyers cuz they are running scared. The administration and coaches better come clean or they might suffer consequences also.

I am sure if you want to contribute they will gladly let you.

I have it on good authority. The LE community should just be aware that a major news organization will soon be knocking on doors and doing s major story. Remember "Friday Night Lights." I hope ya'll mant the publicity cuz here it comes.

Really dude, I have alot of respect for Wylie and its posters, but I hate that you, individually feel it necessary to drag our program and kids through the mud with conjecture and libelous statements.

If I am proven wrong so be it but if you are resting your hopes on proving a 4 year starter and an outstanding Frosh player are illegal, when the accustions have been made numerous times before, good luck. Our bitterest rival is 8 miles from us, in the same city and if anything was wrong they would know. It would put them in the basketball playoffs and us out. Go figure the odds.

Wrong again, it goes back to the day LE was certified as the District champs.

Nothing to do with the SC. Everything to do with finally someone standing up for whats right.

crazy deal. Ferris just went through the same thing but they got hit on a technicality. They had a home in ferris but still owned a home in desoto, which is ok, as long as that address is NOT on any government issued ID's, bills arent in your name anymore (utility) and you have no personal items still there! Thats what got them. Their utility bills were still in their name and they had personal items there.

I talked to both Asst and HC individually and they said it is all hype. Coach C is an LE grad and has been there for 15yrs. If anything comes from this I would be surprised.
