Looks like it'll be between W-OS and Liberty Eylau. Gonna be close between those two. They'll go head to head in the 4x100 and the 4x200.

Better get that stick around!

The relays will be the key. Quality points in all 3 will make LE hard to beat, but a drop could be a disaster.

Relays and hurdles are unpredictable. Watch out for a wet track on Saturday.

Brookshire-Royal could be a surprise in the relays and Yoakum could come out of the field events with a bunch of points.

All of the buzz is about the boys right now. This is the first time in 22 years that LE has won a district title and our 1st ever region title. Girls seem to win year in and year out so just another day for them.lol

WO-S had the best times in regional of all schools in these events.

100m 10.45
200m 22.05
110 hurdles 14.30
4x100 41.08
4x200 1:26.12

And if they are lucky enough to finish 1st again in all these events that would give them 70 points. Good luck to all.

I would like someone to video the 3A boys 200 and 4x200.

I have seen the kid from Royal a couple of times, and have yet to see him have to finish a race in either...

Can you video tape at the meet?

Rodney Brown from Navasota will be the favorite in the discus. He has thrown 198-7 already and is looking for 200. He will also be competing in the shot put.

Yes, from the stands. Hubby did that a couple of years ago. Let's just say that filming the start of the 300m hurdles from across the field, most of the way to the top made it look like ants were running. lol

That 110 hurdles race is going to be killer. Jaxon Shipley has ran that time before and I think he can go faster. It should come down to which one can stay on their 3 steps and not ding a hurdle.

I know at one point Derek Longoria had the best discus toss of something around 170. Has Rodney thrown that distance consistantly or did he just get off one massive toss?

i would consider a 1 second difference a blowout but that would be a HUGE blowout. I cant picture .3. Im guessing its a stride or two difference

I don't know how bad .3 is or isn't, but watching the video he was pretty much a man amongst boys. He will be back at RB for them this yr too.
