Pearsall vs. Mathis Area Baseball

Pearsall will take on Mathis (yes the same Mathis team that blew a 9-0 sixth inning lead to Zapata in a 22-9 loss) in a best-of-three area series on Friday at 7 p.m. at Southwest High School in San Antonio and Saturday at 2 p.m. at A&M-Kingsville. Game three will be at 4 p.m. in Kingsville if needed.

Mathis won its bi-district series over Zapata 9-22, 2-1, 9-2. Pearsall won 29-3A with an 8-3 record and are 15-11 overall.

Any thoughts?
