I need suggestions on a good game to check out during Week 2..since Everman plays on Saturday....I'll drive a little ways from DFW depending on how good the game is...if Burnet-Marlin was in Week 2 I'd be in Burnet for that one! I am thinking of checkin out Forney-Mabank simply because of Forney's new stadium....

Heh,heh, how far you willing to drive? :D Is week 2 Sept.5th or the following week? If it's the fifth, Sinton/Gregory-Portland will be a good one. wink

I tell you what Matthew, the game won't be worth anything but the stadium is gorgeous...I've seen it from the road and I can't wait to see a game in it.

How about Cameron Yoe vs Bellville in Cameron. It will be quite an early test for Cameron but with China Spring, Bellville, and Gatesville in consecutive weeks, every week looks like a test for the Yoemen.

LISTEN TO RANGER MOM!!!! if u wanna see a good game come to the Mustang Bowl when we will be playing Greenwood. It will be awesome for 3 reasons: 1) OBVIOUS, we want revenge for the play-offs, 2) we lost to greenwood last year in pre-district, BUT 3) ever since we got the brand new turf, we are undefeated on it..so the question is, will we get our revenge and keep the turf un-defeated, or will Greenwood bust our streak and continue theirs of beatin us??? GREAT GAME TO WATCH.....im #25 wink

I may make the road trip to Sweetwater....it isn't too far from Ft Worth only 2 hours away...I could prolly make it in 2 hours...week zero I'll be checkin out Forney-Aledo...

To CameronByStander: The Yoe will be young, but have a good group of superior-potential athletes...There is a good chance they can take all three-Bellville, China Spring, Gatesville. If they don't win, it will be a good experience anyway. The Yoeman, I believe, will be ready for Bear, by playoff time.

Worth you must have a jet engine in your ride. I agree, that will be an awesome matchup.
I would have to say Greenwood has the edge with the talent they have back. Sweetwater lost a great player in Carillo, and have some question marks heading into the season.

VWG, ur right...i mean we need alot of our younger players to step up, and greenwood still has their QB whos really awesome, but dont be fooled, our QB Reid Bishop is really good.....but yeah Matthew, it will be between 2 hours and 2 and a half....depends on the kind of driver u are wink
