Roids have no place in Competition.

They are illegal for a reason...and if anyone agrees with using them, then they are a criminal and should be re-educated of specific reasons to why certain drugs are legal and not legal.

Cushing released a statement saying that it was not steroids that he was suspended for. This story has apparently been verified by other sources, according to ESPN 97.5 here in Houston.

While I'm not a Texans or Cushing fan it seems a lot of folks have jumped to conclusions. Multiple sources have stated it was a "banned substance" not a PED. Sudafed for instance is a banned substance. He also passed a lie detector test on the issue. Looks like he made a mistake but probably not one that helped him on the field.

+1, lets wait for the full story to come out, and see exactly what tripped the test. I think the reason for all the Cush bashing is he did have some "problems" at USC with roids. Not sure if he was ever reprimanded for them.

I do not know much about this guy and do not have an opinion on it other than if you are suspended for 4 games now, then pop again it could be longer period next time and teams will keep that in mind come contract time.
