At first I thought Lady GaGa was going to be just another flash in the pan blonde who likes to sing nearly naked. But now, after seeing and hearing her music in a couple of her videos, I think she may become the new "Madonna". Her video quality, sound editing, art design, fashion, and music all all top drawer---and this comes from an "old guy".

I don' know the numbers but would think Lady Gaga has blown away Madonnas sales numbers for this point in their respective careers. Will Gaga have the staying power of Madonna? Who knows! But Lady Gaga is just as talented (maybe more) and has acheived her fame in a era when EVERYTHING she could do has already been done to death. Madonna was somewhat of a novelty when she made her debut!

I hope she can because I enjoy her music. Anyone who hasn't listened to her music should do so! Everyone knows the hits but her less well known stuff is pretty dang good also.

On another note: Does anyone listen to Lilly Allen any? The Girl is hilarious.........

Didn't say I was a fan of some of her content, but I do appreciate the excellence of her productions---the folks behind her know what they are doing. I agree, I don't think she caters to the family audience.

Out of all the things that I suspected of you PPSteakhound I never thought you were a prude! Her shows aren't designed for "families" and anyone who allows their child to watch her without doing their due dilegence doesn't have a right to complain. And Modonna squirming around wet on the ground singing "Like A Virgin" in the 80's was pretty questionable in it's own right.
Most of us were actually talking about her "Talent" as a entertainer rather than her appropriateness.

Yea but she probably gets a lot more practice at "faking it" than she does acting!!!!! And Romo could never get her over the hump in the BIG game (if you know what I mean!!!) :D
