In occasional past playoff games, his size/rebounding on the inside and his outside shooting ability helped to win games. However, his consistency never did.

His ability to space out the low post for Duncan. He's an outside shooter, in the mold of Sam Perkins. Not much defense, not much of a post game, but he pulls his defender (usually another big) outside, opens up the paint, and helps the Spurs' spacing.

And on that note, he's been a big turd most of this season.

Occasionally he can really fill it up from the 3 pt line. He's been clanking for the most part this postseason, so maybe he's due for a big game.

He was terrible in the playoffs last year, and again this year.

I noticed a lot in the series against the Mavs that the Mavs would just leave him wide open on the 3pt line most of the time he was in. They know he doesn't make those shots very often. I'd much rather have Roger Mason or someone in there.

I think Popovich may be getting a little senile

I've never seen a coach play such a crappy player so many minutes in playoff series
