I still say the Yankees or the Red Sox...... I don't "hate" any team. There's just some teams I like a whole lot less than others.:D

I think this is suspect. The Cleveland Indians are the most hated? Are these baseball fans or people who oppose the use of that mascot?

And the Giants and A's were the most popular? Was this study done with a disproportionate number of Bay Area respondents?

And the Reds and Astros? What on earth is this hatred based on?

For me:

1. Yankees
2. Yankees
3. Dodgers

This list also factors in popularity, which in my mind is different from hatred.

So if one person rates their hatred for the Yankees as a 5, and the next person rates their love for the Yankees as a 5, the score is 0. Meanwhile, the average popularity for the Indians and Astros is probably much less.

In real life, the Yanks are probably both the most popular and most hated team.

The Yanks, Red Sox, and Dodgers are my favorite teams. I know they are because ESPN tells me so every time I watch SPORTSCENTER!

In reality, those are the teams I dislike the most!
