With both Spears and Huffman rushing for 1600+ this season. Are they the best one, two punch running the football in the 3A playoffs?

Yes Rice does have a good running combo,but they cannot pass the football and thats why they won't make it to the championship game.

Teams have one the whole thing without the greatest passing games. Sealy didnt throw the ball much nor did La Grange. They relied on the run to win. Now teams like Bellville are dangerous due to the fact that they can do both. At this point it is anyone ball game.

You have to remember Wharton shut down your running game spears had 9-33yds/sanford 7-47yds,huffman 16-127yds 60 of those yards was on 1 run.Rice has a good team but untill roark learns to run a balance offense a good defense will shut you down.
