35 bowl games for the next 4 years, Is that really needed? So now 70 teams who can muster up a 6-6 record will be playing somewhere, most of which in half empty stadiums.

Remember when bowl games were a really big deal? Cotton Bowl, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl period. Being in a bowl game then was really something.

there's always been some less than stellar bowl games

now there's just 25 of them instead of 10-its only the other ten that anyone watches

sad-empty seats in half of them

If you cant finish in the top half of your conference why the heck do you deserve to play in a bowl game
